Sanitation & Recycling

The city of City of Marmaduke contracts with an outside waste management company, Shelton Sanitation, for solid waste collection. Everyone within the city limits is required to have garbage collection.

There is a recycling container located at the Marmaduke City Park at 307 West Mill Street.  All residents are encouraged to take all recyclables to this container.  DO NOT PLACE ITEMS ON THE GROUND, PLACE EVERYTHING INSIDE THE CONTAINER.

Most trash and debris, when properly bagged, will fit inside the large blue container that is provided by Shelton Sanitation.  These containers will be picked up on Friday at curbside unless otherwise notified.  Containers must be set out by 6:00 am on Friday morning.  I would like to encourage all residents to remove the garbage container from the street side once the pick up has been made.  This will make our town much more attractive if everyone will do this.

For large items (furniture and appliances) please contact Shelton Sanitation at (870) 597-2000 to arrange pick up prior to placing these at streetside to help reduce the amount of time these type of items set on the street.
